Measurement Specialties manufactures SchaevitzR AccuStar? electronic clinometers and AngleStar? electronic protractor systems which use capacitance-based sensors for the precise measurement of level, angle or tilt. These unique, patented designs feature a wide range of performance parameters, interface options and price alternatives. These rugged sensors can withstand high levels of shock and vibration that might destroy a MEMS-type device. They also have very high accuracy, especially around zero degrees, which makes them ideal for leveling applications. Uses include construction equipment, tipover protection, antenna positioning, vehicle testing and car alarms, aerospace and robotics.

	SchaevitzR Single Axis Clinometers: The SchaevitzR single axis tilt sensor line incorporates a fluid filled capacitance based technology to measure inclination up to +/-60degs. The sensors have no moving parts so making them extremely rugged and reliable.		SchaevitzR Dual Axis Clinometers: The SchaevitzR dual axis tilt sensors use fluid filled capacitance technology to measure +/- 20deg inclination in both the X and Y axis’. The simple sensing element provides a low cost dual axis tilt solution.

Electrolytic Tilt Sensors are non-signal conditioned sensing elements. Geared toward the OEM market place, and available in full scale ranges from +/-0.25 degrees to +/-80 degrees, these sensors are capable of satisfying even the most demanding applications. Three series are available, including single and dual axis versions (dual axis version PC board mountable), in both glass and ceramic construction.
